A symposium is a conversation - a dialogue among colleagues and friends who are interested in exploring a topic of mutual interest. Jung began a dialogue with Buddhism in the 1930’s with his Foreword for Daisetsu Suzuki’s famous Introduction to Zen Buddhism, and he continued it late in life in 1958 in a Conversation with Zen Master Shin’ichi Hisamatsu. The Symposium at ISAPZURICH in October, 2019 is dedicated to picking up where Jung left off and keeping this important dialogue alive and vital for Analytical Psychology.
