Internationales Seminar für Analytische Psychologie

Stacy Wirth, born 1954 in North Carolina, has lived in Switzerland since 1979, holding dual citizenship since 1980. In 2021, she retired from her long-standing private practice in Zurich and her work as an ISAP Training Analyst, but she continues to teach at ISAP and to serve as a member of the Jungian Odyssey Committee and a member of the Department for Complex Theory.

After receiving her diploma in Analytical Psychology from the C.G. Jung Institute Zurich (2003), Stacy went on to become a member of ISAP’s founding board (2004). She has been a member of ISAP’s Jungian Odyssey Committee since 2006. Since 2004 she has served on the Executive Committee of the Association of Graduates in Analytical Psychology (AGAP), the international professional organization that founded and remains to be responsible for ISAP. She is currently co-president of AGAP.

To her Jungian work Stacy brings her background as a free-lance dancer and choreographer. For a good 20 years, she focused especially on experimental and cross-disciplinary collaboration, all the while emphasizing the finding of one’s own voice in movement. In 1984 she co-founded the Swiss non-profit foundation Seefeld-Tanzprojekt and served as the board president until 2005. In 1991, shortly before commencing her Jungian training, she shared the Zurich Mayor’s Council Cultural Award for the foundation’s innovative work as well as for her “obstinate” choreography.
