The Mercurius Prize Committee is pleased to award the MERCURIUS PRIZE to Stephen Apkon for his two films, "Disturbing the Peace" and "There Is Another Way," and for his Human Rights organization, reconsider.org. The films are masterful works that profoundly capture the reality of tragic personal and cultural disunity, offering a vision for healing reflection and human rights.

Join us for the award ceremony which will include the screening of "There Is Another Way," followed by a panel discussion led by Murray Stein, featuring the director and members of the Mercurius Prize Committee.

The Mercurius Prize (mercuriusprize.org) is awarded to film-makers whose sensitivity to psychological truth and depth is shown in their work and who also express caring attention to fundamental human values.
