Hilary Morgan worked for decades as a director of photography on documentary films throughout North and South America, the Middle East, Central and Southeast Asia, and Europe — documenting a wide portfolio of social, political, and environmental issues. More recently she returned to making her own films and made “The Tower of Dreams.” She is currently working with a group to save the Tower, and on a full-length film about Christiana Morgan’s life and work. She lives in San Francisco.
The mass crushes out the insight and reflection that are still possible with the individual, and this necessarily leads to doctrinaire and authoritarian tyranny if ever the constitutional State should succumb to a fit of weakness.
