Mary Arwen

I have practiced as a psychotherapist since 2008, and I began formal training in analytical psychology in 2019. I have also studied specific modalities for treating the effects of early trauma, including EMDR, sensorimotor psychotherapy, and a certified course of study with Donald Kalsched. My graduate training was a unique blend of modern psychoanalytic theory and Buddhist psychology.

My first career was in dance, and my undergraduate degree is in art. I appreciate the irrational languages of the psyche, very much including how the body speaks. I have adult twin sons who are my deepest delight.
