I have a background in Education, Applied Linguistics and Literature (MA, 2000). I taught literature in high school and then worked in the international film industry for many years.

A personal crisis in the form of an illness brought me to study Counseling Psychology (DipHE, 2012) and take Certificate Courses in Sandplay Therapy (ISST, 2014–2015), Developmental Psychology, Trauma Therapy, and Theory and Practice of Child Psychoanalysis (Moscow Association for Analytical Psychology, 2011–2014).

As a Counseling Psychologist and a Sandplay Therapist, I had my private practice in Moscow since 2012, working both with adult clients and children.

I started studying in Zürich in 2019. Since then, I completed the requirements of the International School of Analytical Psychology Zürich to obtain the status of an Analyst-in-Training and had my clinical internship at the Department for Acute Psychoses of the Psychiatrische Klinik Münsterlingen (Switzerland, 2024), close to Kesswil where C.G. Jung was born. After that, I started seeing clients in Zürich under the supervision of established Jungian Analysts.

From the start of my counselling practice, I have often found myself working with clients who live away from home: more through fate, or the workings of the unconscious, than through a conscious choice, having been involved with the English-speaking expat community in Moscow since day one. I have also worked with boarding school and university students studying abroad. Now I have become an expatriate myself, studying and working in Switzerland.

My other areas of expertise include relationships, with all their traps and joys, as well as living with the consequences of early trauma, the striving for creative and/or personal achievement, and the undying quest of becoming one’s true self.

I also practice Psychological Astrology as an aid to self-discovery for myself and my clients.

I am the author of a published novel about psychotherapy (Moscow, 2021).

I speak English, Russian, and German, and have a working understanding of French.
